Bill Oddie takes a trip to the Lake District in late autumn. He finds out how red squirrels are getting their own back on the greys; looks at leeches and crayfish; forages for fungi and detects bats

Speyside in Spring

Bill Oddie goes to the Scottish Highlands in Spring, to find reindeer, mountain hares, ptarmigan, pine martens, wood ants and capercaillie.

Episode 4

Merseyside in Early Spring

Bill Oddie visits Liverpool, fishes for Korean Sea Squirt, watches Ravens and has a close encounter with a fox.

Episode 5

Dorset in Late Spring

Bill Oddie visits Dorset in search of the "Big Six" British reptiles, and also sees red squirrels, dragonflies, nightjars and carnivorous plants.

Episode 6

Northumberland in Early Summer

Bill Oddie takes a trip to Northumberland, looks at wild flowers, water voles and toads. Also visits Farne Islands, home to terns, puffins and seals.
